2024—present

A modernized wordmark

Lamborghini unveiled a modernized identity in 2024, retaining the bull in its familiar pose while reducing details and introducing a new typeface. This timeline image is the updated wordmark only; the separate bull-and-shield emblem is described in the official archive.

The story behind the changes

How the identity evolved

A symbol built around the bull

Lamborghini’s history page describes the bull as a defining element from the company’s early production-car badges. The first emblem combined it with a shield and wordmark; later versions adjusted color, detail and proportions as the cars and company evolved.

From the Diablo shield to the 2024 update

The official timeline dates a blue-and-silver Diablo badge to 1990 and a Centro Stile redesign to 1998, when the gold bull returned against black. In 2024, the company announced a more minimal logo with fewer details and new lettering. Compare Lamborghini’s heraldic crest with the modern ring mark of Audi and the prancing-horse emblem of Ferrari.
