Fanta

Fanta’s high-energy wordmark uses bold lettering and a distinctive blue backdrop. Coca-Cola’s 2023 announcement confirms a refreshed logo as part of a broader packaging update.

A dimensional orange-and-green mark

The story behind the changes

How the identity evolved

Color and movement signal a playful brand

Fanta’s logo has often relied on saturated color and heavy lettering to stand out on packaging. A 2018-era treatment used an orange circle and green leaf behind the wordmark; the newer treatment simplifies the presentation into a sharper blue-and-white shape.

The 2023 refresh

The Coca-Cola Company said in March 2023 that Fanta Orange was sporting a refreshed look, including a new logo, as the updated product reached U.S. and Canadian shelves. The current mark keeps the brand’s energetic slant while reducing some of the earlier illustration. Compare its colorful beverage identity with Coca-Cola and Pepsi.
